Rate of pay: £18.50 – £21 per hour + paid breaks (annual salary £37,0518 – £42,588, excluding paid breaks)

Hours: 39 hours per week, overtime available, subject to availability

We are looking for passionate and caring Registered Nurses with a proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team, to join our growing family at Ashview Nursing Home.

Ashview Nursing Home is a 32 bedded care home where we support elderly residents with a variety of care needs, including basic or complex nursing needs and also palliative care. It is a delightfully picturesque home situated on the outskirts of the village of Widford, between Much Hadham and Ware.

What are the responsibilities of a Registered Nurse?

As a Registered General Nurse at Ashview Nursing Home, you’ll take responsibility, alongside the Home Manager, for ensuring high standards of care which meet the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of our residents.

Shift pattern example: long and short shifts available, e.g. 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am, 8am-2pm or 2pm -8pm, including paid handover. Monday to Sunday rota, including alternate weekends.

About you

• A recognised qualification as a Registered Nurse
• A valid and current NMC registration and pin*
• Previous experience working as a Registered Nurse
• Good communication skills and the ability to lead a team
• A desire to care for others
• A compassionate and flexible work ethic
