Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Global UGRAD Program, applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be a citizen of a UGRAD participating country
  • Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in good standing
  • Have at least one semester remaining at their home institution after the program
  • Demonstrate strong English language skills
  • Be able to begin studies in the U.S. in August 2025 or January 2026
  • Be eligible to receive and maintain a U.S. J-1 visa
  • Have a commitment to return to their home country after completing the program
