Who is eligible for the Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship?

To be eligible for the Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Completed Year 12 in the two-year period prior to 2025
  • Achieved a minimum Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 99.00 or equivalent (for commencing students)
  • Achieved a minimum GPA of 5.8 or equivalent (for continuing UQ students)
  • Intend to enroll full-time in an approved undergraduate program at UQ in 2025
  • Have completed no more than one semester of an approved program
  • Do not hold another scholarship deemed similar by the Liveris Academy Director

The approved undergraduate programs for the Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship include:

  • Bachelor of Computer Science
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
  • Engineering integrated programs
  • Bachelor of Science
  • Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Information Technology
  • Bachelor of Mathematics
  • Dual programs including one of the above

How to apply for the Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship

Applications for the 2025 Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship open on 24 July 2024 and close on 27 August 2024.

To apply, interested students need to complete the online application form and provide the following supporting documentation:

  • A cover letter
  • An up-to-date resume
  • Academic records (Year 11 Semester 2 and Year 12 Semester 1 reports for high school leavers, or most recent university transcript for current UQ students)
  • A short video (up to 1 minute) demonstrating how the applicant meets the selection criteria
  • Responses to the short answer questions in the application form

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview with the selection panel. Applicants are encouraged to use the UQ tips for scholarship applications to strengthen their submission.
