For the 2024-2025 academic year, TDTU is offering both full and partial scholarships for its undergraduate programs taught in English and Vietnamese.

Undergraduate Programs Taught in English
- Scholarship type: Partial to full scholarships based on academic performance and English proficiency
- Study level: Undergraduate
- Majors: 12 majors available (see list here)
- Duration: 4-5 years depending on major
Full Scholarship Inclusions:
- 100% tuition fee waiver (excluding repeated courses)
- 100% dormitory fee waiver
Partial Scholarship Inclusions:
- 50-75% tuition fee waiver (excluding repeated courses)
- 100% dormitory fee waiver
Undergraduate Programs Taught in Vietnamese
- Scholarship type: Partial to full scholarships based on academic performance and Vietnamese proficiency
- Study level: Undergraduate
- Majors: 40 majors available, excluding Vietnamese Studies (see list here)
- Duration: 1 year of Vietnamese language study at TDTU, then 4-5 years for the degree program
Full Scholarship Inclusions:
- 100% tuition fee waiver (excluding repeated courses)
- 100% dormitory fee waiver
- Stipend of 3,000,000 VND/month
Partial Scholarship Inclusions:
- 50-75% tuition fee waiver (excluding repeated courses)

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the TDTU international student scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Academic Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (graduating in 2022, 2023, or 2024)
- Minimum GPA of 6.5/10.0 in final year of high school
Language Proficiency Requirements
- For English-taught programs:Native English speaker, OR
- Valid IELTS score of at least 5.5 or equivalent
- For Vietnamese-taught programs:Vietnamese language proficiency certificate of at least B2 level, OR
- Completion of 1 year Vietnamese language study at TDTU and passing B2 level proficiency test
Some majors have additional requirements. For example, the Pharmacy major requires a “Good” GPA or above and a Chemistry average of at least 7.0/10.0 in the final year of high school.
Design majors require an aptitude assessment test.

Interested students can apply online here for the Spring 2025 intake between August 25, 2024 and October 20, 2024. Eligible applicants will be notified of the results via email in late November 2024.Required application documents include:
